1.  Clear out the clutter and have the home clean and tidy.

2.  Make simply yet appealing updates inside and keep up with yard work outside to impress home buyers.

3.  Organize your home and arrange furnishings, or hire a stager.

4.  Respect professionals’ opinions on what changes should be made to the home to make it appealing.

5.  Respond to low offers with appreciation but make it known you are serious about accepting a better one.

DO

1.  Fall behind in bills, yard maintenance, or house cleaning.

2.  Don’t price your home excessively; listen to your agent and follow market conditions.

3.  Don’t make your home unavailable or neglect to reply to showing requests. Your home needs to be ready when buyers are!

4.  Don’t expect your agent to do it all. You will have a number of responsibilities, and together, we can make your home selling experience successful!
